Jas Smart Travel in London

Hello, I have just arrived in London. This is one of the London’s smaller airports, Heathrow. Later on, I will have to take a feeder bus to the MRT station where here they call Tube.

This is the 1st station, Hutton Cross Station. My wife and I have decided to wait till 9am because by then the train ticket will be half the price hee…hee… We have done some homework before we came here.

The train fares here are very much different from where I come from, Singapore. You are charged base on their zones. You can refer to the diagram.

Hmm… now that we are in the train. And I have found that the train windows are opened?? Argghh.. no air-conditioning. But I am really excited; I keep looking outside the windows as the sceneries pass by.

We are going to alight at Russell Square station. That is the nearest train station to our hotel, Royal National Hotel. We leave our luggage at the hotel then we went roaming around the area.

We start walking towards the Kingcross station.

There are a lots of budget (bed & breakfast, B&B) hotels around the area.

Hey guess what !? I have found their version of HDB flats…haha… My wife says you ‘Siao’, crazy, here is London, you know? And we have a good laugh.

We have walked for about an hour or so. I have spotted this cute little red car, so contrast to the one beside it.

We have our lunch at a fast-food outlet and it cost about £5. Wow… look at the servings, it’s a very huge one for Asian people like us. Obviously we can’t finished it so we ‘ta pao’, take away; the rest is for our dinner. Oh…! Yes, you can see that there is no chilly sauce in the picture. They don’t fancy about that. We are well prepared, thus we have our own chilly sauce.

Well, the people here are very friendly and the weather is quite cool for me if the wind is not blowing. There are more pictures to share……
